Approach:

Saute finely chopped garlic and chili in olive oil.
Add canned tomatoes, sugar and bay leaves, and cook on low heat for 20 minutes, until thickened.
Cut bacon and chorizo ​​sausage into small cubes and the clipfish into pieces of approx. 2 cm. Roughly chop onions and cut peppers into pieces.
Saute bacon and chorizo ​​sausage in a frying pan for a few minutes. Add onions, peppers and stockfish and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add olive oil if necessary.
Add the mixture to the tomato sauce together with the fish stock. Bring to the boil and simmer the soup for 1-2 minutes.
Season with pepper, salt and possibly chili powder if you want more flavor. Serve the soup piping hot with bread and aïoli.
